knocklink sensor position?

my knocklink arrived today.where do you lot put your knocklink sensors?
ive put mine on the manafold,i think this is where the mappers put theres whilst mapping.

From: oop north in a spec-c.Now sold and starting on a classic ra track/sprint/road car

Under the intercooler on a bugeye using the spare bolt hole in the block,opposite the o/e knocklink sensor.
