Car keeps cutting out!
Car is a MY99 type R, with aps induction kit and full scoobysport exhaust. I've not driven it on boost much apart from when I picked it up; but it was driving well on boost. Since then I've only driven off boost but the car keeps cutting out! It only happens when I'm slowing down/coming to a stop, usually in 2nd gear. Was going round a roundabout and it cut out, steering went all heavy and had to come to a stop and start it up again
I've done a search but the results came up with others' cutting out in 3rd/4th gear while on boost. Also, once the car is warm the idling is slightly erratic. I'm thinking both of these faults are down to a faulty MAF?
Any ideas? I'm gonna go out and disconnect the MAF to see if it stalls...
TIA.

Disconnected the MAF and the engine kept running.
Been searching again and some say that there should be activity on the knocklink if the MAF is f%ked, but mine's fine with no activity whatsoever? But when I did drive on boost it was running perfect with no hesitation etc?
I guess I definately need a new MAF, but does disconnecting it definately show it's buggered or could there be something else? Lambda sensor?
Help is appreciated!

Without a remap get rid of the APS induction kit as this could be causing you to run lean.
Also do a ECU check just incase. http://www.saxonfields.freeserve.co....iag%20Page.htm
