Default ECUTEK3 re-map for STI ?? serious help needed!!

hi everyone,

need some serious advice here, i have contact a few scooby tuners about tek3 map for my STI JDM Bugeye....

my current spec:
JDM STI Bugeye
Zerosport 3'' downpipe
FGK 3'' system
Walbro pump
K&K panel filter

i have read a few post on here that they achived more than 330/330 with the above mods, i have seen from 345/340 - 356/346 (with induction kit)

but then i got a reply from a tuner saying that bugeye cant achive more than 330/330 unless with a upgrade intercooler + induction kit????

i really want to get the best out of my car.... serious advice needed
really i am aiming for 3xx/345

also any respectable mappers around herts? is Pat @ Xtreme Scoobies okay? i have been recommand by lots of people to go there, and of course Andy.F

one last question should i keep spending money on this car or better off getting an Evo ?

many thanks
kev

my sti is still a standard car with a prodrive at the moment i,ve read that the standard intercooler is good for 350bhp. When i had my wrx scoobyclinic did the decat and remap they did a great job my sti is going there when i have the cash ,even if you buy a evo which is also a great car you still gonna have to part with a fair bit of cash to get it to 350bhp mate

Look at the webmaster result on his JDM sti spec c at the very top of scoobynet or send Andyforrestperformance an email .There a guy on sidc got 403bhp on sti newage intercooler with different turbo ,aps cold air induction kit ,uprated fuel pump etc and it uk sti .Andy forrest remped his ecu useing ecutek.Ecutek did a jdmsti there was a right up in Japanese performance and went up to 329bhp on standard jdm sti .I have 05jdm sti not got round to remap yet just running it on optimax and millers octane booster all the time
