Hiya all,apprecaite bit of advice own a R reg- uk impretza.baiscally standard engine mods just got dump valve,filter,an Hks decat pipe with 3inch pipe to backbox.Sounds great noisey but nice,cars ok but wanted a bit more power,friends am telling me to get Apexi fc commander an stuff.but unfourtnlly ant got the fundings at the minute,is the another but sensible way of getting bit more power out of wht i got? dont mind spending couple of hundred quid on it.Nice 1.

 

the '97-98 Imprezas are buggers to map, a friend has a 97 wagon and wanted it done, and was recommended the Apexi ECU as a direct replacment.

The problem is that the ECU doesn't have the upgrade socket in it,(like the earlier cars) so fitting a scoobyecu chip is a real nightmare.
