Default Smoke During Accelerating?

Hi guy's, when i take my MY2000 UK Turbo to about 5500 - 6000 rpm i get a puff of grey/black smoke at gear change. I rarely give it that much so could it be a build up in the exhaust or over fuelling? Hope it's nothing more serious

Sounds like it's running a little rich. Nothing to worry about.

I noticed a lot of Scoobs do this at a recent RR day, quite alarming at first

have you got a VTA dump valve, this will cause overfuelling as it dumps.
