I have a MY95 WRX and have noticed a water leak at the front. Upon closer inspection there are small hairline cracks in the plastic sides of the rad. The rad itself is perfect and so am loathed to cough up £313.00 for a new one from Subaru.

Have asked them about buying the plastic sides but they don't do this and my local rad. rebuilding co. usually throw away the centre part and rebuild using the old plastic parts!

Have repaired the rad. for the time being but don't really want to chance it for too long.

Has anyone got any ideas?? Or a used rad. which is no good but with good plastic parts.
