Default Lambda identification required!

Hi all,

Urgently require data on OE lambda # 22690-AA500, this is a 4 wire zirconia sensor, approx 650mm wire length, with a 4 pin connector block fitting.

Can anyone with access to a Subaru CDRom confirm which models this fits (I think it should be 1994-2000 UK spec cars with EJ20 engine) and where abouts on the exhaust system it fits (I suspect it may be a center section sensor?)

I would be very grateful if some one can confirm the above as we are getting conflicting info back on the part.

Finally am I correct in thinking the lambda nearest the engine (behind the turbo?) is a 3 wire with a short wire length an OE # 22690-AA321 with black/red/white wires?

Thanks in advance

Rich

Sounds more like a newage lambda off the exhaust headers? They are 4 pin with black sheath to wires.
Newage centre section Lambda is slightly shorter and has yellow sheath, but is also 4 pin.
All classic lamdbas I've come across are 3 pin?

Nick, I trawled through dozens of sites last night and the info varies massively, the 3 pin 22690-AA321 sensor is the most common on classics, yet other companies do list the one I mention as being for the models I list??

I need some sort of hard evidence to go back to our manufacturers!!

1994-2000 UK spec cars (i.e. Classics) only have one Lambda sensor and its in the downpipe straight after the turbo. There definitly isn't one in the centre section!

OE lambda # 22690-AA520 will fit an 02 newage center section if it helps you,
maybe in process of elimination
