Revs
I just want to know if this is ok.
my 94 WRX revs high (not complaining acceleration!!).
but for example, if I'm in 5th gear, going 60mph it will be revving at 3000rpm, then 70 = 3500rpm, and 80 = 4000rpm and so on, is this the same with all classics? just seems high for a car which is suppose to be able to do 140+.
So if you work it out, it would be revving about 7000rpm surely? which is were my rev limiter is, is this correct?

think with an early gearbox it works out at just slightly more than 20mph but less than 21 mph per 1000rpm in 5th So yes your right saying you would be revving at 7000rpm. Dont think the engine would last to long though with a standard topmount and internals at those kind of speeds!!
