Default Millers Octane Boosters

I was unable to get Millers Octane Plus today but the guy had Millers VSP Plus !

Whats VSP Plus ? Does it do a similar job to Octane Plus & can it be used in my scoob ?

Cheers

It's meant as a lead substitute and octane booster, aimed mainly towards heads with soft valve seats and the need to run on the octane equivalent of leaded fuel. I'm not sure if it's fully compatable with the cat. though. Personally, as my car has a cat. I would'nt use it, I do on occasions use Octane plus, so I keep a supply of this.
Take a look www.millersoils.co.uk

PS If you go to one of the shows where Millers have a stand, you can usually pick up a box of ten for £30
If you need a bottle for the RR at Power Eng. on the 25th I'll take one along?

There a auto shop 5minutes from me, Millers is £4 and can be treated with 50litre of petrol, its adds an extra 2 RON, so if your using Optimax, it will increase from 98RON to 100RON, Halfrauds sell some stuff that puts 6RON on so I'm told.
I would'nt use any stuff your unsure on.

Guys

I live in Northern Ireland and I get regular supplies of Millers Octane plus for my 53 reg STI from Alyn at:

www.ASPerformance.com
www.ASPtrading.co.uk

They can ship me a box of 10 bottles for £35. Definitely recommend this stuff - makes a great difference to the car's running.

Like yer man above , I would not use the VSP stuff - not suitable for what you need it for - totally agree.

From what I have seen millers VSP can be used OCASSIONALLY in cat equipped cars where as millers 'ordinary' octane booster has no restrictions. Hope this hellps.
