Hi,

Has anyone tried or know anything about Blue Flame Impreza de-cat system ?

I have been told they make some very good exhausts for motor bikes but have not seen/know anything about of there car systems.

 

I've got a full blue flame decat system on my 2002 wrx its been fine since i had it fitted over a year ago

 

I've heard they're F***ing loud!

 

It is loud but so are most straight through full decat systems. I have heard louder thou. Its not over powering when at idle or when driving on the motorway.

 

If you had posted this thread last week then I could have met up with you because I'm near your part of the world this week and you could have had a listen. I removed it at the weekend and fitted a full scoobysport because it is quieter.

The blue flame one isn't as loud as some others, but it was too loud for me on the motorway. The scoobysport one is quieter, but I think I have lost a little performance because it's only 2.5" and the blue flame was 3".

Anyway, I have a blue flame one sat in my garage if you're looking to buy one then let me know.
