had similar issues a few weeks back i assumed it was a wheel bearing but these were given to meossibly wheel balance, tracking , disks are warpped or maybe a bearing

turned out in my case to be two big bulges on the inside of the drivers wheel causeing a lot of break shudder and vibration thriugh te steering wheel.

i would say start the cheapest first check your tyres to see if there were any lumps on the tread and side wall, if not down to a tyre garage for a balance and tracking would of thought it would cost you say £40 at the most and whilst it is there just ask them if they notice any play in the bearing and have a look at the condition of the disks. then if not sorted start on the more expensive things

this is all my opinion but hope it helps
