Question Induction Kit

Just wondering what having will do in terms of performance, noise etc. I've got a 03MY Sti PPP. I've been told that this alone will add 15-20 bhp but I'm somewhat sceptical.........

Cheers

I would continue to be sceptical.

IMHO a quality aftermarket panel filter will do the job.

Cheers

They dont give that much - i ran at 305BHP on my P1 with a decat/headers/induction kit/tek3 remap.

on the same dyno on the same day another P1 same spec but without the induction kit gave 300.

It will be another story though when you are the far side of 370 bhp and the standard airbox is becoming restrictive.

Not worth it (especially as they are not as MAF friendly) until you are going for a power hike IMO

There's an excellent article on here 'Newage Impreza Modifications' on the home page of these forums that goes into detail about induction etc. Very good read
