simota panel filter....oiled or dry?

Default simota panel filter....oiled or dry?

just cleaned my filter and unsure as if it shuld be lightly oiled or installed dry? any ideas

Don't put any oil on it. You don't say what year/model your car is but in any case the mass air flow sensor ( mounted in the large bore rubber pipe connected to the air box upper ) will not work properly if it gets oil on it. Some replacement panel filters are designed to run dry, if yours isn't then get one of these. Or put the standard filter back in, most tuning houses will tell you aftermarket panel filters make next to no difference anyway.
