Hi all, Have noticed since cleaning my boost solenoid on my 96 sti version 3 that its clicking has got much more noticable. It can be heard in the cabin between idle and 1500rpm. If the car has had a good warm up its less noticable. Having done a search on this problem a lot of people say that this ticking is normal but also many say its not. I would be grateful if someone could clear this up for me once and for all and advise me as to whether mine is faulty. Thanks in advance.

 

Mine does the same and I hate it. It is 'normal' but not right if you ask me.
