Default boost restrictor mod

Anyone had this mod done and can you tell me the safe inside diameter of the restrictor used,

I have read loads on this from the scoobymods site but one guy has used a restrictor with a internal bore diameter of 2.3mm which sounds a bit big to me.

The car in question is a MY02 WRX

cheers

Pre 96 bigger hole = more boost. But only marginal as the ECU will pull back the boost to near stock levels.
Post 96 Smaller hole = more boost. Same results as abobe though.

you will get boost spikes and/or fuel cut and the ECU will try to pull the boost back to near standard levels.

Pointless mod unless you are trying to re-configure/control the boost after other mods have upset things.
