just wondered if it comes on at the rev limiter as have seen it at about 6800 rpm but the injectors are running at 94% wot so have wondered if it is on due to that or the other that it it has hit the limit .have never seen more than 40 on the knock level usualy at the rev limit and normal running is 6- 15 knock level

any one knw?

 

If you hit the limiter the ECU picks it up as det and will flash the CEL if you stay on the limiter long enough
Otherwise, it depends what warnings your mapper has enabled within the ECU

its only flashes for about 1 second ihad thought that it might pick it up on a ping.i only hit it in first gear very breifly though
