Which induction Kit?
Guys,
I'm new on here, so be nice.
I've got a 2002 Sti Prodrive, and was wondering what anyone would recommend fitting with regards Induction Kits? I've heard that the HKS super power flow is a good un, but is this good info?
Thanks,
Al

Wouldnt bother!A panel filter is the way to go green,k&n or sti.Induction kits can muck up the fueling. If you want noise remove the inlet silencer from under the o/s/f wing. The O/E air box is good for quite alot of power.
Welcome by the way,Same motor as me

Thanks mate,
Looking around the forums, it seems that quite a few people are of the same opinion as you, not to fit an induction kit.
To be honest, I'm not desperate to fit one, as I think the cars fast enough. I'm still getting used to it at the moment, as its more of a beast than the WRX i had before.
P.S - Nice motor
Al

The best upgrade i found was a decat exhaust,Uprated fuel pump,a panel filter and an ecutek remap which has given me 330bhp and 320lb torque.Another step up from standard. You'll soon get used to it and want more power.lol

Yeah your probably right!!
The ecutek remap only gave you an extra 30-ish bhp? Or is that about all you could look to get reallistically?
The difference between this motor amd my WRX really is night/day.

Yes you can get more with different turbo's etc. What i had seemed a nice setup at the right price.
