Does anyone know if there is a visable difference to the Prodrive ECU fitted to pre MY99 cars with PPP fitted?
I understand cars should come with a certificate if PPP fitted and the ECU has Prodrive marking on it, can anyone verify this?

 

I've not seen prodrive markings on 1993 - 1996 ECU (these sometimes have a Prdrive sticker but not sure if it's a genuine item. But a chip will be fitted in the bottom corner with a hand written label on it.
1999 - 2000 ECU are badged STi and just have a different map loaded.
