I currently run my car on optimax and octane booster to keep it around 100 ron. I want to fit a full decat system. I do plan on having it mapped, but for now just wondering how it will run? I have an STI panel filter as well. everything else is standard.

Any advice would be great.

With a full decat you run the chance of it overboosting slightly especially in the colder weather. With the fuel you are using you shouldnt have to worry about detonation. I ran my 93wrx quite often on supermarket 95 ron unleaded with only the second green light on my knocklink occasionally illuminating

i have a sti uk with full decat,k&n panel,scorpion back box,ihave been advised to change the fuel pumpt to a 255 walbro,will i need a remap also.cheers

 

yeah, change anything like that and you need a remap... i really need one for mine. Will do it soon hopefully
