Warning light help....please
I have a warning light that comes on every now and again and i think its something to do with the exhaust or cat. Its grouped with the CEL,oil pressure and battery lights. And its a JDM WRX MY 94
It looks like a silencer box but it has lines coming out of the top to look like heat rising (crap description i know)
Does this mean my cat is overheating and if so why does it come on when the car has just been started from cold. Could this be a sensor problem?
If i drive down the road within a mile it goes off and the engine still isn`t fully warmed up..Help
Cheers

Take it to subaru mate, they will plug it in and tell you in 2 secsonds what the problem is !!
It will be your OBD light probably, my old wrx did that and it was because the cat wasnt reaching operating temp !!

Thanks Guys i thought it was something to do with the cat but wasn`t one hundred percent sure. It just concerned me to see a red light come on. seems to run spot on. And like i said this light comes on when cold or hot and then goes out again. does this mean my cat is on its way out. I`m pretty sure its only got the one in the downpipe now as it has a decat magnex pipe on it.
Thanks
Nick
Thanks
