Is the water pump from a manual wrx the same as one on an automatic?

should be all the same bolted to front of engine requiring cambelt off

Cheers, thought it would be the same as there is nothing extra for the water pump to do on either, still pumping water through the same places.Heres a pic of the auto water pump, does it look like manual one? cos i aint disturbed anything yet so dnt know what the manual one looks like, thanks

looks the same to me heres mine still fitted to engine

should be the same physical size and as u say cant imagine it doing anything different eg.flowing water at different speed should be fine
