Default ???? Throttle Position Sensor Calibration ?????

2001 Jdm Sti 7

The previous owner removed the TPS & cleaned it with WD40 For what reason i do not know, But in his old post , he says it would not start afterwards, But then did with lots of black smoke Etc.

Waffle Over

When these have been removed do they need calibrating ??? & if so How is this carried out ??

What are the Signs / Symptons of a Duff Tps ??
Thanks

I am sure that the resistance value for this is,though it is given in the workshop manual. Bit of a pain to adjust as the lower screw is difficult to access. You need a voltmeter with resistance on it to set it up. Quite easy. Check the onboard diagnostics that will tell you if it is faulty.
