Help, My beloved whoooosh noise has gone, suddenly stopped working on my way home tonight. Have had the whole dump valve appart seems fine suspected the diagaphram was split but wasnt! put it back together worked for a few gear changes but has stopped again, no blow off at all just the horibble stalling ( chirping ) noise which cant be good for the turbo. Can you get service kits for these as i think the spring has become stiff with the heat from the engine. Can anyone help, Have you ever experienced this or am i barking up the wrong tree?

 

Have you checked the vacum pipe to the BOV isn't split?

Also (if you've used it) the plastic disc filters HKS use (that go in the vacum line) have a habbit of splitting down the centre.

Only other thing I'd suggest is a drop of oil on the internal shaft and pump it by hand to make sure it's smooth.

 

This was the fault on mine, worth giving yours a check!

 

Did take pipe off fom manifold put finger over other end and blew didnt appear to leak! Thou i cant produce anywhere near 1.2 bar with my tiny lungs lol. Might get a new Disc filter thou does anyone know where u can get them from? Will try the oil idea tho so obvious i hadnt tried it. Many thanks
