Default quick question about headers

will an STi 7 (newage) set of headers fit a classic including the heat shields.

The only problem I can think of is that there wont be the oxygen sensor hole.

One more thing, are they any freer flowing?

You can plug the hole so that is not a problem.
They are not any better flowing but they will be if you get them ported, professionally, before fitting.
They are interchangeable but I have no idea about heat shields as I throw them away and exhaust wrap which is far more effective. at a guess I would say the heat shields will present no problem.
