Default V7 rear cam sensor question..

First of all, greetings form the US!

I have a project that I've been building for quite a few months now with an ej257 shortblock with forged pistons and rods, along with JDM V7 sti heads. My problem is that one of the rear cam sensors is broken. Locating one in the US has been anything but pleasant. I've been told it will take anyone 3-5 weeks to get a hold of one to send me.

I'm wondering if the UK V7 STI heads are identical in terms of using the same cam sensor. If so, does anyone know somewhere online that would ship to the US that I can order one from. Or would anyone be willing to ship me one (i'll of course reimburse you for the part, and your time and effort ).

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

They're all likely to have them to hand...

Stephen, I was responding to the fact that stevem2K nominated me as a source of parts and I wasn't here to take the call.

Mostly my guys leave the Subaru stuff to me as we have APi engines to run and I have largely divorced myself from the day to day of that to concentrate on APi Impreza.

If I have offended or trodden on toes - sorry, I am an authorised ******** or something on scoobynet, so I guess it's allowed.

kind regards David APi

I also gathered from the bump that no-one else was interested so it seemed polite to try to help.

No probs to me David, just reading it slightly fresh, whilst having a mad 5 minute break from work

Just came across as a bit "ambulance chaser", thats all.
