Thinking of joining the group buy for the new clutch from api.I have been told to also replace the spriget bearing. Is that spriget bearing as in tartan paint?
Does it exist and will it need replacing

clutch replacement
The spigot bearing is usually a phospher bronze bush or needle roller bearing that sits in the end of the crankshaft, the first motion shaft of your gearbox ( the one that goes through the clutch) fits inside it to stop end float and undue wear on the first motion shaft bearing.
