Default Re-map of ECU

Any reccommendations as to who to use for a ECU re-map on my 2001 WRX with PPP and how much it costs?

Also how much are de-cat pipes and what should i go for?

Cheers

Contact AndyF at www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk

He did my classic with nice results. He also does the new age.

I can second that. Andy has done my MY01 twice now - he does a fantastic job.

What did he map you MY01 up to and what other mods have you done?

Depends where you are but Power Engineering did my 01 WRX, great result, I'd also suggest fitting a de-cat up-pipe if you are going re-map, mine with PPP centre de-cat & backbox, OE downpipe and 1.3bar boost is around 265hp/276ftlb and much smoother power delivery than with the PPP chip

I've got a decat downpipe, OE centre cat, straight through centre section and WR Sport babckbox, plus a JR panel filter. Andy got me to about 270bhp and 290lb-ft and the car is now awesome in the midrange. And sounds good too .

If you can, I would fit a decat uppipe as well as Andy would be able to push you higher again - this is a restiction but he can't push the uppipe cat too much in case it melts into the turbo .
