hello is it possible to buy a 2nd hand power fc & have it mapped separately, was thinking of cost, or is it better to buy 1 & have it fitted/mapped by same person?

 

yes you can get one 2nd hand and have it mapped the same as a new one.

only down side is if it goes wrong!

 

You had best buy the Power FC pack, got my ecu plus controller in the same box, I understand the controllers are expensive on their own and are dedicated units ie Nissan ones don't fit Imprezas etc so you need to be careful. A couple of Guys do these and Map them on S.Net. The Jolly Green Monster sold me mine and mapped it gave him 10/10, All the mappers are good .

 

I bought my apexi power fc and commander from ebay and got it mapped by Jolly Green Monster (Simon) and he did an excellent job.

 

how much for an apexi power fc and commander fitting and mapping????on a wrx 1995 import?is it worth it??my car has full decat k&n air filter

If you buy a secondhand one or an ebay import special, by the time you've had it mapped, you won't have saved much money over buying the 'pack' off a reputable mapper.
