Question Apexi Power ECU

Hi all,

Looking for some advise for the more technical minded guys out there. I have a my96 STI v3 with a Afterburner de-cat centre section and afterburner back box standard it is meant to run 280bhp, so may be a couple of horses over that with the exhaust changes?!?
In the process of getting a bigger fuel pump and new air filter fitted at the mo.

I have a standard down pipe on the car and was thinking of getting Andy F to fit a Apexi power fc and remap, may question is with the standard down pipe will there be much difference in the bhp figure??

Any advise, cheers.

Yes.. also to drivability and turbo spool.. well worth changing the downpipe to an open neck one imho..

Also worth looking up the chassis number on www.sidc.co.uk because MY96 would make it most likely an STi2.
