I have had my Jap Import now for about 4 weeks and I have noticed that although the excelleration is very rapid, I don't think the car would get anywhere near the 145+ that it should do. I have read that Jap cars are sometimes limited to about 110mph and they need to be de limited to make the the same high end as uk cars. How do I do this and how much should it cost????

 

Yes in Japan they are limited to about 115mph...

What model and year Sub have you got?

You would feel the limiter cutting in though if you hit it, accelaration stops very suddenly.

 

112mph limiter. Word of caution - due to this limiter Subaru didn't see fit to make an intercooler that worked above that speed. If you go for a sustained WOT high rev 130+ run, i'd give your engine 5 min tops
