As it's a UK car normal 95 RON unleaded will be fine, although if you wish to get the best from the car use SUL and do a ecu reset so that it will adjust to the higher RON fuel.

It's only JDM imports that NEED to be run on the higher grade fuels.

There's nothing wrong with running a UK spec WRX on normal UL but you'll probably find it a bit more responsive if you run it on SUL and better again if run on Optimax.

You don't need to reset the newage ecu's if you start putting in SUL, it will sort itself out after a couple of tanks of fuel.

I ran mine on UL for a short while after I bought it and it used to hesitate a little at 2750rpm's (and actually spluttered once) but I've run it on SUL for 3-4 months now and it's not done it since changing fuel.
