i took a early wrx wagon in part exchange yesterday, car had a misfire and a slight idle problem. check engine light showed up codes for injector number 2 and air mass meter i have sorted all those problems no check engine light, ecu was faulty and new one fitted.

the car needed a clutch so i did that today and serviced it while the engine was out of the car too, new plugs new filters and oil. checked coil packs and they seem to have been renewed lately. put the engine back in started it up fire fine idles ok. but the car has a big hesitation put the foot down and seems like it is not releasing the gas properly. i have checked the down pipe and that has been welded at some point i think the catted down pipe is knackered.

any one have any ideas on how to solve the problem need as much info for tomorrow as i would like it sorted b4 i go on holiday on saturday
