Which turbo on a newage??
Asked loads of times, but want your opinion on which specific turbo...
I am hoping to get around 320 - 360 bhp (or thereabouts).
I'm looking at a VF Turbo - but which one? There seems to be quite a few.
Don't really want to go to a hybrid TD05 as I'm trying to keep costs down.
So what I'm really asking is what are the differences between a VF28/29/30/34 etc. Are they Subaru specific?

You dont need a hybrid TD05 for your power goals.
A standard TD05-16G Converted to front entry will suffice. More reliable than the IHI range and can be bought for around £250. Keep an eye out in the for sale section.
If you would prefer to buy New, the Momentum EJ5-40T is easy capable of your power goals and a lot cheaper than a Hybrid.
