JDM vs USDM Downpipe for 2001 JDM STi
Hi All,
First post on the forum, and I hope this question hasn't been asked a million times, but here goes. I have a JDM 2001 WRX STi, and I want to just change the downpipe. The car has a nice mid section (not sure what brand but doesn't look stock), and the axle back is STi Genome, so I'm only looking to change to a downpipe without a CAT (no emissions laws here). What, if any, are the major differences between a USDM downpipe for the USDM WRX/WRX STi, and a JDM WRX STi?
Basically it's much easier and cheaper to buy a downpipe from the U.S., but I'm worried if I buy a USDM downpipe, it won't mate back to my mid section.
Any input much appreciated.
