My STi 8 has a PPP, I want to change the rear box for a bit more rumble and bark when opened up. Quite fancy the Jap exit style, but there seems so much choice.

Can anyone suggest a suitable replacement that isn't going to hurt the ears too much when I'm in the car. Iv'e looked at loads of sites and video clips but first hand opinions would be welcome with any pics?

Hi mate, had the ninja on my99 turbo and it seems to fit the bill what you are after. i currently have the afterburner vortex on my02 STi ppp, which is louder. not a problem for me as i dont do to many m/way miles. saying that though it is not as loud in the cabin on my02, as the ninja was on my99, better soundproofing? workmanship cant go wrong for both b/boxes. hope i shed abit of light

Thanks for that, had thought of the Vortex. Does it sound anything like the soundtrack on Scooby world site? as that doesn't sound 2 loud.
