80k isnt bad for a car that age, depends how its been looked after before hand. If it has been well maintained then it should be bullet proof (not literally). Basically not much help this but if you have a good un then it should be fine, if its bad then it could cost a bit to get it to be good. Its impossible really to answer the question better than that.

how many miles is a well serviced (not over services, just say dealer intervals) going to last?

How does the clutch or bakes hold up when used everyday in a normal way (IE not ragging the T**S off it!

the clutch if its a standard of slightly modified car will be fine and you should have a normal service life akin to any car, the brakes will probably wear a little quicker than other cars though as you will tend to be going a bit faster than you thought!

If its running the original ECU, the fuel it has been fed will be very important. Sti's in particular will need Optimax plus booster.
