Default Next Stage Tuning

Car was an STI7 PPP.
I would like to know what any of y experts think about this.
I live in Thailand so high temps are the norm.
So far we have binned the PPP piggyback and exhast system and fitted
1 Complete HKS 3 inch downpipe/exhast with no cats or mufflers

2 HKS wastgate actuator

3 Uprated fuel pump

4 Full ecutek remap

Now we want to fit

1 Large twin scroll turbo

2 Open the injecters(take the green resticter off)

3.Fit apexi air intake drawing air through the wheelarch

4 HKS plugs

5 Re map again and run 1.6ish bar

Any thoughts much apreciated

Steve

Not sure why you would fit the HKS WG actuator.
From experience of fitting a twin scroll VF37(I think it was) that was a big disappointment.
You can make your own induction system quite cheaply and better than some of the after market kits. Cold air is aa good thing but remember that if you have a sharp (90 deg) turn before the MAF Sensor body, then the MAF will need rescaled.
I would NOT use HKS plugs as a result of first hand experience. NGK PFR7B would be my choice.
The more boost you run the shorter the engine life. 1.6 as an absolute maximum unless engine life is not important. 1.5 would be safer.

Do you have any means of measuring charge temperatures at the throttlebody?
Cost of monitoring with available guages here would be circa £50.

Consider a FMIC.

Cannot answer the rest as I do not have first hand experience.

Thanks I think the twin scroll will need balenced headers. I did drive an STI at Sepang recently with the big turbo and it was f***** fast.
What is an FMIC?

Thannks on the plugs, will the NGKs be OK with our high tempreatures
I think we were able to look at throttle body temp when we had the laptop plugged into the car.
Anyone else used any of this stuff

FMIC = Front Mount Inter cooler.
The NGK PFR 7 B are the plugs I would use. Your 20 deg higher ambients are not a consideration where the combustion temperatures are concerned.

Thanks again,we fitted the WG actuator to get better control of the high boost levels we want to run, seems to work

We are now getting Gasohol in Thailand which is 10% ethonol, the car runs better on it,anyone can explain why?
