also which top mount intercooler can i fit as an upgrade ??

should be 280ps at the mo (276bhp i think)

bhp will be about 320bhp

better change to front mount intercooler much better!!!!!
kits are cheep on ebay too

 

My 97STi, made exactly that with those exact mods, and as said above front mount, or STi8 top mount..

 

Hi, I got my 98 V4 sti wagon rolling roaded yesterday and it made 288 bhp. The only modes I have are an Apexi downpipe and a magnex Back box + centre section.

last week rolling road tested my97 uk with vf22 moded to front entry de cat fmic and moded fuel rail+regulator and got 286bhp @6900rpm sadly found a rad leak today recommend fmic made good mine as its uk not import!!!
