ECU - Remap or Upgrade on MY93
Hi All,
Just bought a Import MY93 with which I have had just over week and already bought loads of goodies! It has blitz air filter, blow off valve and exhaust and hopefully this week API Grp N Downpipe.
Trying to find recommended places down south to remap or upgrade my ECU as i'm based in Brighton! Don't mind travelling but just seeing if theirs any other Subaru specialist!
Can anyone recommend any places and also advice best options for MY93 ?
Power Engineering have quoted me £625 + vat for Chip conversion and rolling road tune up
Thanks
Vas

What do you mean by chip conversion, piggy back or eprom. I'm sure it wouldn't cost much more for a fully mappable ecu, like apexi power fc. I've seen them advertised at £750 with mapping. Much more long term potential. Hopfully someone will be along soon with more wisdom on the subject
yes that chip conversion sounds interesting, let us know exactly what it is. Like Dave says the power fc can be had for a bit more fitted supplied and mapped (usually mapped on the road which is more accurate than a rr)
Simon aka JollyGreenMonster, and Bob Rawle are both based down south and I believe both map the power fc (I know Simon does anyway) they both have good reputations on here for doing very decent work.

cheers guys for the replies!!
Power Engineering said they were waiting for motherboards which will be next week and said for the chip conversion it will be £625+vat
But i'm gonna go for an apexi!!
