Default Spark plug colours

Comments on health would be most appreciated.

From my 97 UK turbo with 98K miles
Only mod so far is a K&N filter.
MAF NOT been changed ever as far as I can tell
They are NGK PF6B plugs

They have done more than book recommended miles, but can't think just how many at the moment.

About to mod exhaust and will be doing a pre mod rolling road test for comparison. But want to know I'm healthy.

Thanks

IHMO I think they look quite good, especially given the fact the milage they've done. If anything the 3rd & 4th from left arn't quite as good as the others two.

I posted a similar post recently and had some good feed back..

Yours look much more brown than mine, I am a little worried my car may be running a little lean - don't want knocking problems etc...

LOL that's due to the octain booster I run, it's known as 'tangoed'..!

AFAIR a greyish tan colour (as yours look from pic) around the electrode is a good sign.
