is anyone running a side exit exhaust on a classic impreza,if so have you still got any boxes or is a straight thru system? also may sound silly is there a side it has to come out of ie not nearside to point towards the pavement or any thing like that?

 

I have only seen one of these on a classic, and it was far side just before the front door.

I personally thought i looked a bit cack, but each to their own.

on the other hand i have de cat downpipe and no middle or back box. its loud as hell straight through. gives quite a rasp.

I had a side exit on mine for about 1 year

When i first got it made it was a straight through from the turbo back and was probably the loudest exhaust on this planet. It used to exit on the off side just before the rear wheel which in turn was about 5 feet from my eardrum. I got a silencer fitted in the centre section but it was still loud as ****.

Still got part of it in the garage

Now moved onto a loverly Titanium number but sometimes miss my Growl
