clutch??
hello
a few times recently, when flooring it in 3rd and sometimes 4th, it boosts, revs climb to say 4.5k and then REALLY climb to almost the redline before i have to shift up. thing is, im not going as fast as i should be for them to climb so fast, its almost as though the clutch is slipping....
coupled with the fact the biting point is very high, think this means the clutch is FUBAR'd?
taaaaaaaa

Sounds that way :-(
Try driving in 4th or 5th and just planting foot to floor on accelerator, this is when most torgue generated and will make a worn out clutch slip easy.
Mine used to be OK in 1st and 2nd and 3rd for even hard accelerating, but do the above procedure and it revved straight to the red line.
