Would This Work on MY05 Exhaust??
I have a MY05 Sti and I like the rear tailpipe but the flat four burble is restricted. I have noticed that the tail piece with sti written on it is only a cover held with 2 spot welds. Do you think I could buy an aftermarket back box and replace this STI cover on the aftermaket exhaust.
In effect what I would have is a nice flat four sound with the original look. The new exhaust would have to have the exact same size tailpipe as the original. Does anyone know what the size of the tail exit when the sti cover is off on the newage sti?
