De - Cat Front Pipe

De - Cat Front Pipe
My 99MY Turbo is fitted with a PPP, and is due to go to TSL tomorrow for one of their phase 5 suspension upgrades.
I'm now toying with de-catting the front pipe, to free up some more power. Does anyone know if a de-cat pipe will mate with my PPP exhaust, will it be much noiser (trying to keep the mods from the missus!) and how much more power will it release?
PPP kit is supposed to be 240 bhp.

i've got a ppp my99 and with just the decat downpipe, centre cat still in and the rest of the system goin into an afterburner backbox, sti panel filter and it made 273bhp 270lbft torque on the same rollers a stock sti5 made very very close to the book figures so i'd say the figures were good removed the centre section cat the other day and the car is pulling even better now.
what i would say is that it is very very loud, bordering on too loud. But i like it
