Default ECU RESET

Is it possable to reset the ecu on a new age sti & if so how do you do it, or is there anywhere to find out how to do it.
Any help will be appreciated

look on here karl and see if it helps, but i dont think you can reset the ecu on new age cars, as i believe you have to have them done by the garage on the machines.
i'm having the same problem with my MY01wrx at the moment.

disconnect the battery for 1 hr this will reset the ecu did it yesterday to my mates my03 new age no probs.

Tried that myself, but it didn't work on an MY01

I have a MY01 and an hour wont do it.
Just leave it disconnected overnight and ECU will be reset for sure

Check out tari.co.za for some good free software that you can use to check your IAM plus a load of other parameters. (if you have a OBD cable)
