Car when first starts cold in the morning idles erraticaly after a minuite ticks over properly,when warmed up is totally fine, what could be the problem ??

Also over the last week a ticking sound has started apperaring also when cold from the left side of the engine, this goes when engine is warm.

No mechanic, HELP !!!!

 

Coil packs maybe. Mines similar, had plugs done recently and was informed mine will need replaced in the near future. Not cheap but worthwhile.
