on my 93 import!

the fan works, the air flow direction thingy works.........

i've metered the control and the actual control works........

i've even tried a different unit out of a working car.........

any ideas?

 

What about the valve and pipework that connects the heater matrix to the cooling system; can hot water actually get into the heater? I assume that youve checked that there is enough coolant in the car (by volume rather than by eye)?

i've felt the tubes going into and coming out of the blukhead and they are hot,

the coolant seems to be full..........

but when you change from cold to hot with the rotay control, you can hear the air flow changing usually, but you cannot here it changing anymore....

so i'm not sure if there is a motorised flap to control the air flow over/through the matrix
