Question Handbrake Adjustment

What is the recommended way to adjust the handbrake? I've got too much slack at the lever.

Thanks in advance.

Undo the the handbrake surround, and you will be able to adjust the handbrake with 2 spanners. 2min job. pull the handbrake to where you want it and tighten the nuts up.

I think the shoes should be ok as a friend who is a mechanic replaced the rear dics not that many mile ago and adjusted the shoes up then.

I've tweaked it up at the front end for now {MOT time tomorrow). Thanks for the tips guys.
