Default ABS Warning Light

98 UK Classic Turbo

For the past week the ABS warning light on first start of the day has stayed on, however, switch the car straight off and re-start, does not re-appear again until next morning.

Yesterday when it was pissing down, same as usual, however, half way through a journey, warning light came back on, switch off ignition, light out, however, the frequency with which it comes on is increasing.

Today, light on permanently.

I have checked the following :-

Brake Fluid level
Brake lights
Battery
Fuses

When the light is off the ABS work as it should, however, when on it doesnt work at all

Does it sound like a dodgy sensor or earthing problem

Where exactly are the sensors situated ?

Cheers !
