1998 Subaru impreza turbo uk

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if i can use a 2002 block with my 1998 heads. I have piston slap on my engine and have found a 2002 block but i need to use my heads because the block is being sold for a 2.5 conversion.

Any ideas ???

 

Yes you can use the later blocks with the earlier heads, you may need to swap things like the cambelt tensioner aswell, i think the 98's have the earlier type...

I'm thinking of doing a similar thing...
